This children's video introduces kids to the idea of syllables and shows them how to break down a word into smaller pieces. The purpose of this video is to move children toward the idea understanding the rules behind pronuciation so that they can reduce larger words to a smaller set of rules that they can master.

In the video, we give three sets of words with one, two, and three syllables. These examples are used to help children genralize the concept of a syllable. Finally, we present several words with various numbers of syllables in them to allow children to test themselves.
