Liberty's Pulpit - AD 1775

This painting, entitled Liberty's Pulpit, by the American artist Jean Leon Gerome Ferris depicts the eve of the American Revolution, where a large piece of Plymouth Rock was placed in the town square and used as a pulpit to inspire the revolution.
