    Add a User

  • Go to Start Menu —> Control Panel —> User Accounts and Family Safety —> User Accounts.
  • Click "Manage another account".
  • Then click "Create a new account".

  • To add a password to your account, click "Create a password for your account".
  • Set the password and type it twice to confirm.
  • You may add a password hint to help you remember the password.
  • Click "Create password".

    Change Your Password

  • Go to Start Menu —> Control Panel —> User Accounts and Family Safety —> User Accounts.
  • To edit a password to your account, click "Change your password".
  • Change the password and type it twice to confirm.

    Change Your Account Permissions

  • Go to Start Menu —> Control Panel —> User Accounts and Family Safety —> User Accounts.
  • Click "Change your account type".
  • If you only have one account on your machine, it has to be an Administrator account.
