Hi xoaxforum,

I'm a website programmer (php, mysql, javascrip) but new with the c++ language. I like these tutorials from this website!
But I've a question about it. All tutorials are in console right? How do I change it to an application where you can see the cards(images, sounds etc.)? Or is c++ the wrong language to make it that way?

Sorry for my English!

Many regards,

cnoob

Actually, many of the tutorials are not console. We have sections for Win32, MFC, OpenGL with GLUT, and we will be adding more. You can use pretty much any of the above to code a graphics-based game with card images. As far as the language, you can code anything in C++.

We have done some simple graphics in OpenGL, and we will be adding more tutorials on graphics (and sound) in the future.

Thank you for the quick reply!

My project is to make an offline texas hold em varient. But I'm a beginner with c++ so I will start with the blackjack tutorial. I don't know how I could start  to make a visual blackjack (images etc.) from the console code. I'v read alot of tutorials but they were in console code.

How do I start with a Windows form application or Win32?

In win32 I can make buttons etc?

Is there any tutorial where I can see how to start first etc.

Many regards,

cnoob
