Save and Load Feature

Well, my friend and I started an text-based RPG, and we later plan on changing it to a 2D game, if possible even 3D.
Well, I got the whole system down and its all organized, but its a long RPG. Ive been wondering is it possible to add a save and load feature to my game? That way everytime they open the program, they can choose to start all over or load from the last save point they were at.
I would post the source code, but there are too many files, and I dont want someone to take it and post it as their own. Do we need to post a source code? If we do, tell me and I will create another simple RPG and post that one

There's no need to post the code. If you use the file IO that we demonstrated in lesson 47, you should be able save any data that you want.
